PONSFARM

A quiet valley, waiting for its first farmers.

Put a seed in the ground. It grows on its own time, not yours — overnight, over days — and whatever comes up is yours to keep, trade, or plant again.

Try a row

This plot lives in your browser, not on a chain. It is here so you know what you are signing up for: you plant, you wait, you come back. Close the tab and the crops keep growing without you.

Six things happen here

In that order, over and over, for as long as you keep coming back.

  1. 1

    Plant

Pick a seed and put it in the ground. That is the whole ritual.

  2. 2

    Grow

Crops take real time. Nothing here finishes in one sitting.

  3. 3

    Harvest

Come back when it is ripe. The valley holds your rows until you do.

  4. 4

    Earn

What you pull out of the soil settles onchain, in your wallet.

  5. 5

    Expand

Trade a harvest for more land, richer soil, rarer trees.

  6. 6

    Together

Neighbours can water your plot while you sleep. Return the favour.

From the almanac

Every farm keeps a book. Pages get pinned to the barn wall so the next person knows what happened before they arrived.

Night 1

Cleared the east field on my own. Soil is heavier than it looks and the shovel is silver, which is a strange thing to give a farmer. Planted six rows anyway. Nothing to do now but wait, which is most of this work.

Tobin, who was here first

Night 4

Hives are in. The orchard flowers open after dark here, which no one warned me about, so the bees keep farmer's hours. Traded a jar for Tobin's plums. Good deal for me. Do not tell him.

Mara, bees

Night 9

Watered someone's rows while they were gone. Did not know them. Found a crate of apples on my porch the next morning with no note. That is how it seems to work down here.

Four seasons, then we see

No dates. A valley is finished when it is finished, and we would rather tell you what is coming than when.

First seasonOpen

The gate opens. A plot each, twelve rows, one seed type. Small on purpose.

Second seasonNext

Orchards. Trees that keep producing instead of being pulled up, and a market to sell into.

Third seasonLater

Animals and neighbours. Shared water, shared fences, plots that touch.

Fourth seasonLater

The rare rows. Land that only grows something worth waiting a long time for.

The farm is open. The chain is not.

You can walk in and start working right now: six rows, a hoe, a bag of apple seeds and forty-five coins. Clear ground, plant an orchard, buy a cow, come back tomorrow and find it grown.

What is not built yet is the onchain half — no wallet to connect, nothing to mint. Your farm is saved in this browser until there is something real to move it onto, and the first plots go to the people who were already standing at the fence.

Follow along and you will know the morning that part opens. That is the whole announcement plan.
